Fishers of Men in Phnom Penh

Way back in January our team traveled to Nashville for a weekend of training. That training was focused on learning how to work together as a team by doing simulated activities.  We had our second training weekend on Sunday April 15. This training was titled Go weekend and focused more on the specifics of our trip. It is April in Michigan which means the weather can literally be anything. Our contact people in the main office of Let's Start Talking (LST) understood how far a drive it would be for us to come to Nashville again so they were going to fly to us. The original plan was for Craig (LST representative) to fly to Michigan and we would meet on campus. Saginaw encountered a ice storm that started Friday night. The roads were bad. It was a combination of ice and slush. So Craig stayed in a hotel in Detroit and we were able to meet on campus but the meeting was done via skype with Craig. Welcome to  our teams blog. We are super excited to go spread the word of God in Cambodia this summer. Right now we are all busy support raising for this trip. As the trip gets closer there will be more updates. We plan to update this site at least once a week while we are in Cambodia, but for right now we want to introduce you to our team. We are six young adults who are stepping out of our comfort zones and into the mission field for Christ.  This is our first international mission trip. We all met at a campus ministry while studying at Saginaw Valley. Each one of us feels called by God to spread the good news.
